The End of Marketing Confusion
September 18th, 2009
It’s time to end all the stress, anxiety, and confusion about marketing in general, and Internet Marketing in particular.
I hear it all the time: I don’t know where to start; I don’t know any of the tech stuff like building a website; I don’t know if my niche is profitable or not?
That’s all rubbish. They’re excuses brought on by a lack of focus.
I’ll cut to the chase. All you need to get started on the path to Internet Marketing prosperity is five things.
Five steps to put you on the road to business success. Five steps that are so simple and so well-known, you’ll probably say to yourself, “Brian, I’ve seen these before.”
Yes, you’ve seen them before, because they work. The five steps are timeless and if you haven’t made a dime online yet, perhaps you should listen to what I have to say.
Here are the Five Steps to (Internet) Marketing Success:
- Find a hungry market
- Find out what they want
- Give it to them
- Focused Implementation
- ?
That’s pretty much it. Sounds simple…and it is, all except principle four and five, which we’ll get into more in part two of this article. We humans have a tendency to over-complicate the simplistic.
Don’t just gloss over this. The most profound truths are filled with so much uncommon, common sense they tend to be ignored or pushed back in our subconscious.
Pick a market that has irrational, passionate people in it; do some market research and find out their problems, wants, and desires; give them the solutions with your products or as an affiliate; take continuous action implementing your marketing plan.
If you study the majority of major marketers on the Internet you’ll find they’ve built their businesses this way.
If you study the majority of major offline marketers you’ll find the same thing.
Why?
Because these five steps are the building blocks to a successful business. Follow them, really absorb them into your being, and watch your profits soar.
In part two of this article, I’ll go into detail implementing four of the five steps and ending, once and for all, the dreaded marketing confusion. In part three of this series, the fifth and most important step, will be revealed.
