Integration Marketing In Action
April 28th, 2009
I stumbled across a perfect example of integration marketing in action I wanted to share with you.
I was in my local grocery store when I happened to glance at a box of Little Debbie lunch cakes. Lo and behold, integration marketing was at work.
For those who aren’t familiar with the term, integration marketing was coined by legendary online marketer Mark Joyner. In essence, integration marketing is putting your sales or branding process into another businesses and getting people that are in the prime, best in the moment buying mentality, and selling to them.
A perfect example is Coke and Pepsi. These cola giants are everywhere. In grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurants. Coke and Pepsi don’t have their own stores. There’s no Pepsi or Coke retail outlets. They have integrated with other businesses to sell their product.
That is integration marketing.
In order to explain it better I’ve made a short video of this process in action.
There you have it. Integration marketing in a nutshell. It’s a very effective form of marketing that should be a part of your overall business development strategy.
